Katoomba Children’s Cottage is a community-based, not-for-profit long day care centre for children aged from birth to 5 years old.
We have been providing quality day care to Blue Mountains families since 1982.
Our Rooms
The Cottage is organised in two age groups within two rooms of our spacious, purpose-built building. We can care for up to 12 children aged 0–2 and a maximum of 45 children in total per day.
Birra-Li
Birra-Li is our room for children aged 0–3 years old, with space for up to 18 children. Birra-Li means ‘baby’ in the language of the Yuwaalaraay People.
Moondani
Moondani is our room for 3–5-year-olds, with space for up to 27 children. Moondani is a First Nations word meaning ‘embrace’.
